Goodbye Sweet, Funny Ike

We said goodbye to our sweet Boston Terrier Ike yesterday morning, he's been with us for 12 years. He had been sick for a year and this weekend we knew we couldn't hang on to him anymore. He had his dignity to the end. Knowing it was coming didn't make it easy. So painful when they go,so painful. Ike was by far the smartest dog we've ever had, he knew what he wanted and how to get it He and my DH were just inseparable and Al was there with him at the end. Hug all of your babies for me.
