My washing machine is not getting deeper I'm just getting shorter!

@Marp @JoyFilled Warrior @PA Mom-mom

If you just got a new washer, it's a combination of the deeper new washer as well as losing an inch or two in height.

You can get a pair of tongs or just stand closer to the washer, or maybe both.  I found that trying to lean in over the newer washer wasn't helping.

@jlkz   ahh   Tongs are a great idea!  I just have a small little collapsible step stool I put in front. I have a stacked Washer/Dryer.  Then, that little step stool collapses, and I put it off to the side.

       Kitchen sink?  Still, just tippy toes!    heh   (The less stool, the better heh).

  I lost a total of 5" and I'm still looking for those inches!  Not so much fun down here, in the lower bowels.

There are tongs in many areas of the house....as well as those long 'grabbers' / trash pickers! We also keep them in the motorhome and just ordered a set for the car! I can't stand by the open tailgate and reach the length of the back.

I have lost 2 inches and refuse to go to 3!  That's my story and I am sticking to it.

I've bought different "Posture gizmos" to wear, moreso straighten up the spine, (but, so far, they rub, & cut under the arms).

I saw a demo of yet another of one of these Posture Gizmos the other day, that maybe will work?  Or maybe I can wear over thick clothes? And/Or use underarm pads? or pad the item's underarms of the gizmo?

         Perhaps one of these will stretch out my spine, which Im guessing is where some of my inches are hiding?? (well, and knees, neck & hips..)

       The Demo of this above, showed it to be a 2 step process in applying this Posture Gizmo, of which didnt seem to instruct in others.  Just hope for at least *some* of my inches back!  Maybe retrieve 2" of my displaced inches?  or 3"?

(Also, Im VERY VERY "top heavy," disproportionately, imho, that doesnt help.  I often relate my total physique to a large scoop, of Ice Cream, atop an Ice Cream Cone.  That weight doesnt help in straightening up).
