It's a beautiful , sunny , day and I did errands this AM. I thought I'd rake up twigs and debris that has accumulated over the winter. Imagine my surprise when I saw something shiny and it was an earring that I thought was long gone. It wasn't expensive, but it was a favorite and I was so pleased. It's the little things folks !  😆🌞😀

Nice here too. Many things still strangely missing, but none showed up yet today. With cats around, things seem to eventually show up, and in the strangest places!

What luck!  Nothing beats finding the earring or it's back.  I have a few lonely singles waiting in my jewelry box.

A while ago, a little neighborhood boy found an earring of mine in my yard.  He came up to me holding it out in his hand.  I was thrilled.  I had the other one in my console of my car.  I guess I took it out and put it there when I realized I was missing the other one.

I gave him $5 for a finder's fee.  His mother said no and I insisted.  It was a twisted gold hoop from Q from years ago.

Was so happy I had my go to everyday earrings again and wouldn't you know, that earring or the other fell off in the driveway and this time I drove over it.  UGH.

I've never worn earrings out since wearing a mask.  Not once.  Only if I have company at my house do I wear earrings any more.
