last week we had our golf cart stolen and trashed - along with many others from our campsite. So yesterday we took ours to a place where they make custom carts to be repaired. They had some really fun ones there. A 67 mustang, a lime green with purple flames , a pepto bismol pink one with poodles painted on it (think poodle skirts) a firetruck and a cop car. It was very interesting how people choose to express their individuality in this way. he told us one man from our campground is getting a 57 chevy in aqua and cream. It was so much fun walking around looking at them all. Ours needs a whole new body plus some welding and parts replacing under neath so he said it will never look perfect as they really smashed the frame n on one side. But he feels it will run and steer well with out any problem. We are getting a burgundy with metallic flecks in it for the body, but since we are still using the same interior it will continue to be cream color, as will the roof. Who would've known - a 2 tone golf cart. I understand at th Villiages in Florida many people have custom golf carts and they have special paths for them to drive on all over town.
