I just saw a commercial on t.v. for these. The Golden Girls are still so popular with their cereal and now Chia Pets.

I don't know about you, but I think they are scary looking. I would never buy these.

Our kids have had Chia Pets in the past, one was Spongebob and the other

was Shrek. They will probably be half price after the holidays in the store. I

think when we got our they were from Rite-Aid.

@Bri369 I think some people will buy everything and anything when it comes to their favorite show or whatever. Not sure about these though. Imagine having company

over and seeing one of these growing.

Don't care for them.

Was thinking the other day.....haven't seen any chia pet commercials this year.  Walgtreen's always sold them.  I have never purchased any of them.

My sister's employer (a major news organization) one year gave out Chia pets to their employees as holiday gifts.  It is a day that still lives in infamy.

Golden Girls was a pretty good show, and I suppose it lives on in reruns.  But I can't believe anyone would buy these.  Actually, I can't believe anyone would buy a chia pet.  It seems like a fad whose time should have gone long ago.

@ValuSkr Yes, the ones we had in the past didn't even grow well. At least with

Shrek he is meant to be green.

Crazy ideas, can't believe anyone gives somethings like this, maybe only as

gag gifts.
