I thought this was more appropriate here than in the Kitchen Forum!

So would you get it? I guess there is the figurine. You could either eat the cereal now or dump it out and keep the box.

I wouldn't - I'm still looking at a FULL limited edition university Coke bottle that DH had to have sitting in my living room cabinet alongside some beautiful Japanese items! I wouldn't drink the Coke now - I don't drink Coke any longer, and if I did I wouldn't go near the contents of that bottle, but one of these days I might just dump it out and wash the bottle. OF COURSE this is something my children will fight over - S-U-R-E! Smiley Wink

"Golden Girls has been off the air for 26 years, but ****** if Dorothy, Blanche, Sophia, and Rose don’t still have some pull.

Pop-culture company Funko, best known for its cutesy figurines of geek-culture icons like Darth Vader, Stranger Things’Demogorgon, and Wonder Woman, recently released a FunkO’s Golden Girls cereal at select Targets — and people can’t get enough of it.

According to USA Today, the cereal itself is a multigrain blue loop, but the real attraction is that every $8 box comes with a different Golden Girls Funko figurine. People have taken to tweeting at Target to track down boxes of the cereal while on eBay boxes of the breakfast food are being auctioned for as much as $24, a triple markup. But also, a small price to pay for being a pal and a confidante."

I think I'd need to check out the cereal ingredients first, to see if it works with my diet.

I was never a fan of the show so don't care about that part.  My daughter came across it when she was in high school, and thought those ladies were hilarious!

Cute on the outside...junk on the inside.  If you just want the box for old times remembrance and into collecting.....go for it.  I'd prefer to enjoy from afar.

I'll try it if Betty White endorses it and says that she eats it @beach-mom

I can eat it when I watch reruns of the Golden Girls.Woman Wink
