Luckily my cousin is VERY into family history and has done a lot of research.  She has hundreds (if not thousands) of pics and is scanning them but she does let me have the ones I want.  Our grandmothers were sisters from a large family and while we were growing up, we lived on the same block and spent so much time together.  It's nice to remember some of those times.  I do have a picture of when our grandmothers were kids.  It is a family picture - their parents (our great grandparents who we never knew) looked so serious and stern.  Guess that's just the way it was back then.  That picture is from the early 1900's.  Over 100 years old now.  People had such large families back then too.
