Wishing him a safe trip home....and that he gets lots of rest once there....
It was wonderful having him here.....

What a whirlwind trip. I honestly do not know where he gets his energy from. I suppose it's truly God-given. I also bet he slept all the way back to Vatican City. He'll be in bed for a week catching up on the sleep he lost.
But he'll be dreaming of all of the wonderful people here that he met.

You're right-his energy must be God-given. I don't think it will take him a week to recover. I think he'll be up and at 'em next day. He has a bad case of sciatica they said-and he had that long plane ride-I believe that's the only thing that might keep him down. I won't forget to pray for you, Papa Francisco.

I wish him well on his trip home. He touched so many people with his love and compassion. I'm sure he has changed many lives in his presence being in the U.S. And all over the world.

I don't know what time it was in Rome, but when I turned CNN on this morning at 8 AM, he had already given a press conference! He said Washington DC was "formal," and NYC was "exhuberant." I think he meant to leave Philly out for a good reason.
I am so glad he is safe and sound at home.

God Bless Pope Francis. I feel very blessed to have witnessed his great love.
And I commend the cities that welcomed him, & represented all of America so well.

"It was a beautiful thing and also different," the Pope said through a translator of Italian. "Washington, the welcome was warm but more formal; New York was a bit exuberant; Philadelphia very demonstrative."
