Had a bad storm the other day and lost power and then my computer had a problem.  I have double ovens and went to turn on the top oven, which I use most, and the knob for the oven broke.  Little did I know it was plastic.  Anyway I did pick up the two pieces and thought I would try to glue it.  I took the knob from the bottom oven so I do have one to use to turn the upper oven on.  I tried to find one on the internet and Kitchenaid but it's old and there is nothing available.

I did have some gorilla glue but it wasn't a gel.  My husband always used a glue that you had to mix but he's not here now so figured it's time to buy something just in case.  There is so much to chose from today.

I'll check them out and see what the reviews are.  Thanks for the information.

@Mz iMac We used to have a really good Old School hardware store.  My husband would find things he needed that he couldn't find elsewhere and we have and Ace much closer.  Sadly, the owner's wife died and he decided to close it. His kids didn't want to take it over.  It's now being mostly destroyed for a restaurant.

@kismet, I guess your husband used epoxy. My husband was good at mixing that. Yes, gorilla glue has one that's gel that can be used on plastic.
