What is a bobcat bird? Is this a play on this picture? Never heard. Yes, I know what  bobcats R. Yes they are rare to sight. Never heard of bobcats laying eggs.

@Kitty Galore.  Of course it's a joke.  Some lucky person manage to grab a shot of the cat investigating an abandoned eagle nest.

A great picture.  The size and strength of that nest is something else!  Wonder how long it takes an eagle to put it together.

Eagles tend to come back to the same nest and build on it each nesting season.  Bald Eagles may use the same nest for up to 35 years, adding sticks and cleaning out debris each year. These nests can grow to be very large, up to 12 feet high and 9 feet across.
