Now, why would anyone object to GK singing the national anthem at a game! Sounds like someone is trying to stir up controversy.

The only thing I read about the Superbowl and some being unhappy with the artists is - a non-Atlanta performer was chosen for the half-time show (Maroon 5). Who attacked Gladys Knight?
