Glad the forum is up and running again, me included as I intend to post here and on the Proboard, but I surely hope it's a 'wake up call' for those that think it can't/won't happen again. Just a friendly reminder, have your 'back up/plan B ready'.

There is NO excuse for this. QVC and the PTB is a huge huge business. If they don't wish to have the forums anymore, than so be it. Stop treating us like dogs. The forums were here for years n years, enjoyed by many over these years, and then to just suddenly have them go down for lengthy periods of time is just plain unacceptable imo. Throw us a bone, take it away, throw us another bone, take it away. What is the objective here?
Yes, we all know computers and systems go down from time to time, but for weeks in a period of a month? I'm not buying it (no pun intended). jmo

When and if that happens posters will just migrate to a new forum. It's not that big of a deal.

I wish they would have told us what was actually going on. All they needed to do was post something, and we would have been [more] patient.

Do not know what the problem was. I did call CS on the day I was locked out. I was unable to "Chat" (which nobody ever comes to anyway....!)
I was simply told to wait 24-72 hours. But even the phone call was ... tedious, trying to get through.

Like you guys, I am also back.
One CS rep told me the fault was my iPad. I said no, I was able to get into other retail sites and order with my same password I always used.
Her answer: “QVC is not like other retailers.”
Seriously, this is the truth. I did not make this up.

I sent emails and was on chat twice........last time, yesterday. Finally able to log on. I told them that we had enough of the excuses that they had an "issue". For days at a time??? Not acceptable and if it was their way of shutting down the forums, we are not that stupid. I hope they finally realize that we are more savvy than that.
