Glad I took the dog

I wrote a couple months ago that I was reluctantly taking a male Pomeranian that my dad couldn't take care of. His name is Rusty.

I really didn't want a dog, as I already have 6 cats.

Well, I am glad I took him. He is very sweet and always happy. He's an adult, but is not perfect with house training. That is my only frustration with him.

He gets along amazingly well with the cats. He gets upset when two of them "fight" and chase each other and barks at them. One of the girls has decided he needed to be put in his dog place.

Although I didn't want to have a dog and wouldn't have sought one out, I'm glad to have him.
