I saw her on television last night (CNN entertainment news), and one topic was her recent cancer diagnosis and her decision to have a double mastectomy. I believe they also mentioned she had been on other tv shows to talk about it.
I certainly wish her well, and totally understand her decision.
I have wondered what people think when "celebrities" talk a lot about personal illness. Does it help anyone - like maybe some women get mammograms? Or is it just too much information about something that is better left private to family and friends? Does it help someone who has had or has breast cancer?
