Let me break it down for those of you who are confused.
Dreads can = Rastafarian's or Jamaicans which can = pot smoking black person
Patchouli can = someone wearing it to cover up said weed odor
So....everyone is an uproar because Giulliana could be saying that she looked like a Rastafarian Pot smoking Jamaican, wearing Pathouli to cover up said weed smell.
Some could call that racial profiling.
Clear now?

isn't pot legal in California? iirc Joan and Melissa visitied one of those medicinal shops and selected from any number of ""flavors""

When I heard the comment I immediately associated it with hippies. I think it is really being blown out of proportion and I think Guiliana is sincerely sorry. I would guess Kelly doesn't like her to begin with for Kelly to publicly not have her back like that. I would imagine if they both continue on that show it will be very awkward. I mean she didn't just not have her back, she has completely thrown her under the bus.

Sorry, but this made me laugh.
Thank you..
...I tried to choose my words carefully so I am not accused with Ms. Rancic.
Note the heavy use of the word "could"

Aisha Tyler said it best on The Talk today. Giuliana needs to "stay in her own lane"...... She is no Joan Rivers no matter how hard she tries.
Sheryl Underwood also said "what would happen if someone make a remark (close to home) about Giuliana's inability to have children, or her skeleton-like frame?" How would she feel about that? Then, Sara Gilbert said "well, I guess we'll see now, won't we?".....
The back and forth today was really funny but you really had to be there... BTW, Kelly had absolutely nothing to do with regard to this whole thing. They barely showed her on camera at all. I watched it several times, even put it in slo mo - and absolutely nothing.

racist thing to say? possibly
stupid thing to say? most definitely!
Zendaya handled it like a woman far older than what she is.

Maybe what she said wasn't right, but I do realize she was just trying to be funny and didn't mean any harm.
I think Z blew it out of proportion and with all the attention she's getting now, it might have helped her career. Maybe that's what she was hoping for.
I think she was trying to be funny too.
I guess that's because I'm a child of the 70's and if it was said back then, no big deal.
Now we're all so "politically correct"......

Joan Rivers said much worse but NEVER apologized. If you are going to do that show own it. If Zanida (SP? as I have NO clue who she is) is going to be this upset she better be watch her own comments as now she has set herself up on a moral highground.
