Girl Scout Leaders

I am thinking about becoming a Girl Scout leader but I am a Christian, single woman who has never married and doesn't have any kids. Do you have to have daughters to be involved in Girl Scouts? Is it appropriate to be a single woman involved? I'm really not sure what the rules are for women to become GS leaders.
