One year I made all different size gingerbread men cookies. Decorated them and they were so cute. I hung them on the tree in my kitchen and they smelled wonderful.

I noticed that some of the lower hanging cookies were missing the lower part of their bodies and some of the little cookies were gone as well.

Come to find out my black lab was enjoying some snacks when we were out or not in the kitchen. That was the last of my gingerbread men baking, lol.

I'm always amazed at people who can do this.  This year I've watched my share of this and past year FoodNetwork challenges - there have been gingerbread structure and cookie decoration ones.

Aren't these houses amazing!!!  They were showing the gingerbread house that the make for The Grand Floridian at Walt Disney World the other night on TV.  I think they said it was 70' high.  It's unbelievable.

I try each year to make one with my granddaughter - one of those kits you buy.  So far, we have had no luck.  It slides right apart.Smiley Frustrated  Of course, I enjoy the time with her while we are trying.
