I saw this great recipe for something that used ginger beer as an ingredient.  Finally found ginger beer...now I cannot find the recipe.  I can't even remember what type of food it was.   Has anyone else done this?  Look for a missing ingredient, found it and forgot what the ingredient was for?   Any recipes using ginger beer?

(I had the same problem several years ago with Borax.  Wound up with a heavy box of Borax and no idea why I wanted it.)

Once I found Borax, I can not be without it!!!  We have hard water so a little Borax added to the laundry detergent makes a world of difference.

But, yes we all go on the "hunt" for something then finally find and ...............

Re: Ginger Beer

[ Edited ]

The only recipe I know of with ginger beer is a Moscow Mule.

I have a bottle of capers and I have no idea why I bought it.  Not something I've ever used.

Edited because I noticed I wrote ginger beet.  I wouldn't drink that :-)

I've heard of a black cow. It's a drink made with  root beer, and vanilla ice cream
