I bought my mother-in-law a 3 pack set of Panasonic Cordless Phones for her number 90. Talking caller ID, as she spoke about that often. Switched her phone system when she was out to dinner with my wife. My wife got her a couple My Pillows for her 90th.

Talk about a big shock when I called her later that evening after my wife came home. She didn't notice the new phones until she heard the voice announcing my wife's name. She tells me every time I see her or talk with her how much she "loves" her new phones.

My friend will be 90 in a few months and she loves fine perfume or parfum and lovely soaps that have a stronger scent since she doesn't have the sense of smell that she used to.

So every year I take her out for lunch or dinner and give her a wonderful scent. She does the same for me as our birthdays are a few days apart. Lucky me- she orders from Neiman's!  She's in great health thank goodness!

My gramma lived to 95 and lived on her own.   We used to pay her cable bill for a month or three as her gift.
