I know in the grand scheme, this is such a nothing, but I'm so disappointed!!
I live in the boonies. Took a chunk of my day to travel to the nearest Bed, Bath and Beyond to buy a gift for a shower I'm invited to. They gave me a print-out of stuff on the recipient's list that was still available. I bought 2 things and they took these items off the list at the register so they would not be purchased by someone else.
Tonight I looked on the website and was surprised to see that someone else also bought her the same thing! And it was purchased after the one that I bought. Apparently it takes 2 hours for the list to update.
Now I either have to go all the way back to return it, or I give her the duplicate gift at the shower.
Ok, I acknowledge it's not a disaster. But it's a bummer. ![]()
