I just heard from a friend that Chris Cuomo (from CNN) and his wife were walking the streets. He's recovering from the Virus - and his wife has the virus. What's Up???? All the marijuana dispensaries are open - but u can't mow ur lawn - What's Up????

@kivah YOU can mow your lawn. You might not be able to hire someone to do it for you, but there isn't a single state that has prohibited people from being outside on their own property.

@kivah In NY where CC lives, you can mow your lawn or your lawn service can do it. Lawn services are essential in N Y. You need to educate yourself for the essential services in the state you are dissing. Farm stands, nurseries, liquor stores, lawn services, construction, delis and more are considered essential in NY.

I would let my husband cut my hair with a pair of nail clippers before I would go to get my hair cut right now. 😏

They were on their own property.  (He lives not far from me, and I know exactly where this was.)

I heard on the news that a father was playing catch with his son in front of their house - and he got ticketed. I see that Chris Cuomo is a JERK.

@kivah, I'd love to see that story. I bet that there is more to it than a father and son playing catch.

The Governers of our states have become dictators - they make the rules - and they break their own rules.

@kivah, I'm not sure what your response has to do with my reply,

In any case, I am very impressed with our governor. His briefings are data-driven, and it's obvious that he is working 24/7 on this crisis. He puts lives first and has a schedule for how to proceed in getting us up and going again. He never once has pointed fingers at anyone and has said that he takes full responsiblity. That's good leadership, IMO.

@kivah , because those people are not touching you or near you for the length of time it took your hairdresser to wash, cut and blow dry your hair.  How can you compare that to a liquor store or any store?

Who said I had a wash/cut and blowdry!!!!! It was just a haircut.

Going there was safer than me walking around Walmart 2 weeks ago. People are getting too paranoid.

Even just a haircut puts the stylist in very close proximity to you.  You're obviously insistent on justifying this.  Do you know anyone who has died from Covid?  I do. This is not paranoia - It's caution that has been advised by experts.  Personally I would not want to be responsible for transmitting Covid to anyone else.  Especially for something like a haircut.

I assume you don't actually know Chris Cuomo, but I do.  I would never characterize him as a jerk.  There are stories that are circulating, and much of what has been reported is incorrect..  Don't believe everything you hear or read.
