In my newspaper there was a suggestion for getting children to wash their hands correctly.  To the tune of Are You Sleeping Are You Sleeping Brother John:

]

Top and Bottom

Top and Bottom

In Between

In Between

Scrub Scrub Scrub

Scrub Scrub Scrub

Till They're Clean

Squeaky Clean

Since my great grandson lives with me I'm going to try using that when he and my granddaughter comes home this evening.  He is 4 and hates to wash his hands so maybe this will work.

@chlema   Great idea @chlema! I also ordered colored, animal soaps and had them delivered from A to my kids to make washing more fun.

@chlema   If your great grandson likes the original Baby Shark song they have a new version on You Tube which is called the Baby Shark Hand Wash Challenge.

I know my three grandsons, ages 6, 4, and almost 2 just adored the original and now love this new version.  But, they never did mind cleaning their hands.

Wishing you success.  Making a game of it and to music should help!

Re: Getting Kids to Wash Hands

Give them some small toys (but too big for the drain) to wash while they're at it. That'll keep them there awhile.
