NECCO also made the Valentine's Conversation Hearts which, if you think about it, are probably the same recipe as the Wafers.  Now, other companies, like Brach's, also make conversation hearts, though I don't think the others are as good.

         Haven't had one in years, but they were a favorite.  Living out the USA, there were many American goodies that were not available to us.  Once a year, my family would make a trip to the "states" and we would stock up on several items we loved.  We always bought several boxes of Necco wafers!  We also bought Tootsie rolls. marshmallow cream, licorice and other goodies.   

        I loved the green wafers!!  Will try to get some before they are all really gone....
