It was discussed elsewhere but I don't care for some of the lady hosts, kinda boring...

Like Kiersten? I think she is new, I don't really know if she is a guest or what

but how refreshing to have some men, get their view on style , etc

Just a suggestion qvc!

I haven't seen Alberti as I don't actually watch QVC anymore but when I did watch, I didn't like any of the men any better than any of the women. In fact, of the ones I do remember seeing, I didn't like them.

Alberti is a dream come true! Very personable, and I love his style, too. Sort of 'preppy'.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Saw him with Lisa last night. The jury is still out.

I always enjoyed Dave King and frankly thought he was the best host, Dave James and Paul Deasy were good too. David is great and very enjoyable and personable. I think Albertini is unique and he is just new so I think it will take time for him to find his spot.

I agree that the next time that there is a "host" open position a man shoudl not be excluded if he meets the qualifications. Even in fashion I see no reason why a man could not present...... The women models would still be "modeling" the clothes. Many of the designers are men anyway. Except for women's bras and panties which might be weird for a man to present, the other items should not matter. It might be nice to have a man's perspective on women's fashions.

I'm only interested in fashion and jewelry on QVC. I like to see the hosts wearing/modeling the items. So often, they just show a pair of earrings on the holder, then spend the rest of the presentation talking to a caller and we never get to see a model. At least if the host wears the jewelry, we get a brief glimpse of scale, how it hangs, etc. Male hosts don't work for the items I like. If QVC went to more trouble to use models, I'd be more open-minded about it.

It's her Southern accent and born way of speaking; no need to judge.
