@Lucylu12 I've seen several local Happy Dances.  The gyms will have lines out the door as well.  Finally, people will have something else to do.

We still have to careful and follow guide lines but our Gov was a small business owner for 30 years so he is fully aware of the impact of keeping businesses closed. 3/4 of the state of Ga have low numbers so I understand his division.  2 counties still have 0. There are 3 counties clustered together with higher numbers. I am sure when other states look at the numbers more will be doing the same.

Haircuts on Friday and restaurants on Monday.  Stay safe y'all!

@Laura14 What about other stores that are closed or is it only restaurants and haircuts?

@proudlyfromNJ Restaurants, theaters, gyms, tattoo parlors and body art, elective surgeries, barbers, salons, estheticians, bowling alleys are the main ones he mentioned.

Still no bars though.  😞

Happy with what is open. Hey I am originally from NY but we lived in New Jersey 6 years when my husband was in the military, I love love love New Jersey. Still miss it. Just wanted to retire someplace warmer. We love Northwest Georgia too so it all worked out.

@proudlyfromNJ Also nail salons, cosmetologists, and massage parlors  are also opening Friday.

@lianne   Must be a big pageant coming up to make sure Miss Georgia wins with all the personal care openings.  😉🤣

So places with lots of people normally close together, eating, breathing heavily, touching each other, wearing communal shoes, and bleeding and cutting into the skin.

Apparently people can't even follow the guidelines here about no political posts, so don't expect people to follow the guidelines for reopening either.

You all have had 490 new cases just today, with 53 new deaths. What is your governor thinking?

@Porcelain Supposedly they have to keep the six feet guidelines which I find interesting for a hair stylist, massage therapist, and server.  I guess it's a flowbee, back scratcher, and either a drone or they just toss your cheeseburger to you from the kitchen.
