We know what he is. You're beating a dead horse in to the ground.

The evidence wasn't there. Doesn't mean anyone liked this man.

All the evidence WASN'T allowed to be presented...his prior arrests for roughing up a cop...his domestic abuse.

The evidence wasn't admitted.

Take it up with Florida and their rules of evidence. Bottom line, the young man struck Zimmerman with enough force to leave bruising etc. There were witnesses who corroborated Zimmerman's story. The law of Florida states that all Zimmerman had to prove was that he was in reasonable fear for his life. His lawyers proved that to the satisfaction of the jurors who were charged with the decision. Can't rewrite history just because the guy is a jerk.

One way to prevent a "miscarriage of justice" is to do jury duty one one gets the notice in the mail.

I mean, we have so many "experts" on here, I'm sure that they would get it right.

Clearly the fight was at the crux of the case. Honestly, I think the murder charge was an over reach.

That type of evidence is rarely allowed in any trial.

Blame the people who refused to press charges.

A sensible, intelligent response.

I understand what you're saying, but the parts that were difficult for me to swallow were - 1) He pursued the kid relentlessly, even against the advice of the police at the time he began to pursue him, so who knows what the young man had to do, if anything, to defend himself against GZ; but 2) The earlier pics of GZ didn't show that he was the least bit tussled up or injured. Then, a few days later, pics showed up of him being 'injured'. It seemed clear, to me anyway, that he created those pictures on his own and at his own hand (or with assistance) for the purpose of creating evidence. He wouldn't have looked anywhere near as good as he did after the incident if he had been all beat up by TM.

{#emotions_dlg.lol} he has to be the dumbest man ever

Yet he keeps getting a woman Smiley Sad

Nobody said they were smart women. I take it this is a different woman from the one he pulled a gun on, and she called the police. As for GZ, he seemed to see himself as some kind of vigilante, no authority, but nevertheless self appointed vigilante. That's how TM ended up dead. Now that G's wings have been somewhat clipped, his frustrations have morphed into domestic violence. The jury may have called him by his first name affectionately and found him innocent, but eventually there WILL be another death. It's only a matter of time.
