Can't say I've ever been a George Strait fan although I do have a couple of his CDs and really liked some of his songs. But for the most part I find his voice kind of blah and boring. Not that I totally dislike him like some others I could name. Just chiming in to say I much prefer to of the guys mentioned in this thead, Alan and Vince and a whole bunch of other better singers, writers and musicians too.

But ole George sure had a good run!

Yes, he will continue recording. He just won't be touring in the near future. I always appreciated the way he wore his Wranglers. And I have a Wrangler wearing family lol.
