I am so saddened by this news.  I immediately ran to my phone and texted all my friends when I heard it on the news.  Seems like just yesterday my best friend and I were dancing around in her living room to "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go."  I was able to see him in concert once.  I think it was 1988.  He had such an amazing voice!  And I loved some of those Wham! videos like "Club Tropicana" and "Last Christmas."

Your post reminded me of when my best friend and I danced along with the video.  Good times!

He was gorgeous, and talented, and I'm sorry he's gone.

Wow.  Only 53.

Wow  amazing you didn't post any link to a site but would rather all posters after you Google this news to try to determine details.  Just wow.

*eyeroll*

The faux outrage is silly.  The news of his passing is everywhere, nobody is required to hold people's hand here.....

@SydneyH@Mellie32@Pearlee

There really are no details about his death and since the family has asked for privacy the rest is just idle speculation anyway.

I caught a blip about his death a little while ago and I can think of better things to fret over instead of a link.  LOL

How many of you had a "CHOOSE LIFE" t-shirt?

There is nothing like the sax solo in the opening bars of Careless Whisper.

I was shocked when I turned on CNN, and they said that George was dead.

I shrieked, "WHAT?!?!?! NO!!!!"

In fact, for the next ten minutes, all I could say was, "No", because I was in shock and disbelief.

I still can't believe that he is gone.

If I had to guess as to what happened, my guess would be that he had a heart attack, but, I could b wrong about that.

My favorite song is "A Different Corner".

It takes me back to high school when I was a freshman and had a mad crush on a senior boy.

Oh, he was so dreamy!

I can still hear George Michael's voice in my mind.

53 is just way too young.

R.I.P. George, and thank-you for all of the wonderful music that you gave us.

Just heard about it.  Sad news.  Loved George.  Many good memories dancing to his songs.
