TMZ reporting heart failure.

Possibly long time drug use took it's toll.

I feel bad.  He was so talented and will be missed..........Loved him.

That's an interesting question, it is being reported that his drug abuse really escalated after the death of his partner from AIDS.

Granted,  I have never been a fan of the rock genre of music,  but I have never even heard of George Michael.   Furthermore,  he doesn't look even slightly familiar. 

I just heard he died of heart failure.   It's amazing how many professional musicians and actors in their 40s, 50s and 60s have died in the past year of heart disease.   Years of drug and body abuse seem to have a way of catching up to people.

TMZ UPDATE:

Sources directly connected with George and in a position to know tell us the singer died from heart failure.  We're told he was sleeping throughout the episode and suffered no pain.
