Now there's a concept.  Pay money out to tell you something you already knew about yourself????

No, @makena that’s a very small part of it, fun but minuscule.  It’s a detailed report on medical genetic variants.  Which ones you have, any you may be a carrier for, which can be ruled out, etc.

@SilleeMeewrote:

I never had my traits genetically analyzed but my story is about my feet. One day I had tried on some shoes at a local shoe store that specializes in custom shoes. The guy measuring my feet asked me if I was Asian and I said 'Yes, how do you know that by looking at my feet?' He told me that Asians have extra-wide feet with very short toes...like mine. I think my feet are odd looking compared to many of my friends' feet. Woman LOL

Hi @SilleeMee    I have feet kinda like yours!!!!   People have actually commented about my fat little toes!    I think they're "cute" (!!!!!)  di

Hmmm...Not always. I have wide feet and very short toes. I was told mine are due to some abnormal chromosomes which are in three % of my cells. I had genetic testing done when I had my sons. On the other hand, my daughter in law is Asian and she and my granddaughter have narrow feet and very long toes and fingers.Smiley Frustrated

@SilleeMee  That's a cute story.

I once went to buy a pair of cute shoes.  The clerk just looked at me and said:  for those feet.  I don't know if he meant the size (9) or what.

I'm waiting for someone to figure out a way to get me to buy the things I already own from them. They almost got it with a mortgage and a car loan interest...

Re: Genetic Medical Report & Genetic Traits

I have been thinking of doing the DNA thing.  I really only know that my Dad's last name comes from Scotland and many of those ended up in Ireland.  I know I must have some viking in me because I crave red meat!  I eat more chicken and fish now but I never get over that craving for red meat.  You suppose there's something to that?  It would be interesting to find out.
