General Hospital--Robyn; And Kate & Sonny

Okay..So Robyn died on GH in the hospital lab explosion while trying to save her work on Jason's protocol. But what I don't get is why didn't she get out of the lab while she had the chance? Also, who else thinks it was Kate who shot Sonny?
