Just had laparoscopic hysterectomy for endometrial cancer on Dec 12. Since the surgeon pumps carbon dioxide in the surgical areas, the residual travels into the chest and shoulders. This gas pain areas are more painful than the surgical area.
Googled for helpful hints which said brief walking, heat pads, even having a family member "burp" you. Anyone have some unique suggestions? Not a big med taker.
