Charcoal but we don't use it often.

Definitely a gas grill. It's so easy and convinient. Charcoal is okay but if that's all we had to rely on we'd be grilling a lot less often.

We've had a gas grill for so long now that I am totally used to it.

Have had a propane gas grill for years. Down here and with just DH and I, we grill up several items: chicken, hot dogs, etc. and later heat them up for different meals. Years ago we had one of those cast iron hibachi charcoal grills. We'd even take it with us and have picnics away from home, cooking hot dogs and burgers for the four kids and the two of us.

Weber propane grill and RecTec wood pellet grill/smoker.  The pellet grill is great for indirect cooking at a steady temperature.  The Weber is great for searing steaks at very high temps.
