First it was the attendant who did not shut the cash drawer, etc. Then yesterday I went to a tulip festival. I pulled off the interstate and drove a couple of miles to get some gas at a small town station. While I was pumping the gas my two friends went inside to get water, etc. This is a small town in the Midwest...Iowa to be specific. Keep in mind we are all ladies in our 60's.

A little boy, about 4 comes out of the station and goes to this really old dirty car. The little fellow himself is really dirty also. Anyway, he strikes up a conversation with me. I asked him his name. He wanted to know what that screen was in my car I told him GPS. We had a little conversation going, when his mother comes out, mad as he_ _, slaps him and tells him to get in the car. At which time I apologize for talking to him, etc. She calms down...they get in the car and drive off. My friends come out and see me talking to the mother and they are upset at her because she was so mean to that little boy. Now I am worried about that little fellow. Not sure what I should have done if anything?
