Garden Show, perfect show for Rick :)

I know I have read on here how Rick gets too talkative, too wild, doesn't let vendor talk, etc.

I like Rick, but agree sometimes I want to hand him a Valium.

I really, really enjoyed the TSV Garden kick-off tonight with Phillip and Rick. I am not sure if it is because Rick is not a gardener, and could not over talk Phillip because he didn't know 'more than the vendor', or if it was because he was internally thinking about his own yard and planting for himself. He was great (quiet Wink)

Phillip got to talk all he wanted, Rick was very quiet. He was not wild, and yet he did he ask very good questions. It was HEAVEN to actually finally have a host that let Phillip talk and enlighten us with his plethora of garden/plant knowledge!

I can listen to Phillip talk for a whole show, He doesn't even need a host. He just never hardly gets to talk (Carolyn and Jill are other offenders of interrupting him and giving their own gardening dissertations).

PW is so polite, but it must be very frustrating for him to have to zip it and go silent, when these plants (and traveling all around during the off-spring season to find new stuff) are his passion. It is his life!

Now, if I could only retain all the tips and tricks Phillip gives, I would be happy. Seems when it finally gets to spring, I can't remember what PW said LOL!

SO, {#emotions_dlg.thumbup} to Rick tonight! Thank you for having a calm interesting show.

I haven't watch Rick in years. I feel frazzled after watching his shows. Ironically I talked to him on a tv call once. Of course I didn't say what I really wanted to which was Rick calm the ---- down.

I like Rick, I just can't watch him for a long period of time. I think they need to hide his Red Bull at times! LOL
