The whole gang is here.  Pic taken from my bedroom window.  They stayed for a long time, trading places with each other and walking up and down the fence.  Fun to watch.

@Pezzie  That's an awesome pic. What are the chances to capture them all together!

I had to look up what type of birds they are, I didn't know they are a type of quail.

I remember visiting my grandparents in Arizona as a kid and seeing baby quali.  My granny called them "little puff balls".

I miss my grandparents everyday.

@Pezzie.  They look like quail.  Are they the same bird?  I see them in my yard too.   They're especially cute with a trail of babies.

@Pezzie That is suc a cool pic.  Thank you for posting this.  I love seeing quail.  Your landscape is so different from "around here" and it's a pleasure to see other areas of the US.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

@Kachina624 They belong to the quail family, and in fact I used to refer to them as quail and got corrected.  What do I know?  Lol

The babies are the cutest and they can run like the wind.

On the desert....sometimes we have......ummm, "larger birds".    I have a family of crows living in a pine tree....and YES, I have a couple birdbaths for them!!!!!
