GUYS just hangin' out!!!!!!!!!

I'm looking out my dining room window right now and I'm watching 3 male Mallard ducks just hanging out together, swimming all around the lake (they must be up to no good--LOL). Usually they are in pairs with the females but not today......

I wonder what the females are doing?
