@catlover Oh, that is so beautiful. I have one that comes into my back yard. Loves to share the bird seed. 

 

He has already mated, so the very long feathers have fallen off, but he is still a real beauty. I look forward to seeing him every day. His home is outside of town, but for some reason he has decided to hang out not only in my neighborhood, but people tell me they frequently see him up in one of my Japanese maples.

When living in California I visited a friend who lived in Malibu who had two peacocks in her backyard.  What an amazing sight they were, and I still have the pictures I took of them.  Nature isn't always our friend or beautiful but those two certainly were.
