Re: GHOST STORIES.......

[ Edited ]

@Pandalady

I think it was my DH who also warned me about my Ma.  I am in a two story house and there is a framed picture (drawing) of a tiger and her cubs at the top of the stairs, outside the main bathroom.

My stairs have solid wall on each side and the stairs curve towards the right when you get near the bottom.

I had a 3 foot high, semi solid baby gate at the bottom of the stairs.

I came home from work one day to find the picture not on the wall upstairs, but in front of the front door instead.  I had come in through the side door.

The nail was still in the wall at the top of the stairs.

So, this picture jumped off of the nail, tumbled down a flight of carpeted stars and pole vaulted over a 3 foot baby gate?

I don't even get the willies any more.  I set my handbag down, walked to the picture, made sure the glass wasn't broken, looked at the baby gate, and said, okay, message received, something is coming that I am not going to like.  Can you hear me?  I got the message, no more flinging things around :-)

My husband is the head of a department at a hospital.  A lot of employees have said the place is haunted.  The building was built in the mid 1940's.  One of the men, who works in this dept., told my husband that he was working at night and his wife was dropping off his dinner.  This is a secured office, so no one can just walk in, they have to be let in or you have to have been issued a key.  He called her wondering where she was.  She was in the parking lot and said, I'm afraid to walk up to the door, because there is a man standing at the window.  He assured her he was by himself.  She said, there is a man standing at the window and he is watching me.  She also said he was wearing what looked to be an old fashioned service hat (shaped like a police hat).

The staff hears unexplained noises, like the bell on the door ringing.  There is a mirror (so they can see people walking into the door from the office ).  One time they heard the bell on the door ring, looked in the mirror and thought they saw one of the guys walk into the breakroom.  They commented that so and so is here, but he never came out of the breakroom.  They checked, and no one was in there and no one had left the building.

During the night shift, one of the guys (who is working alone) says he sees a man peeking at him through the window of a door into the office where he is working.  He even wrote in a report to my husband that, "I work the night shift alone and 'he' watches me ALL night long...."

I love Dead Files and Ghost Adventures, although I often disagree with what they think the ghost or spirit has said. Still fun to watch.

I've had my own ghost adventures for sure. I have no doubt that they exist based on my own experiences. Fascinating stuff!

Another unforgettable experience I've had happened when I was driving home from work.  The drive home was only about 20 minutes at most. When I got in my car,I had the clear distinct feeling of someone sitting in the passenger seat.  As I drove home I kept glancing over at the seat it was so so strong. About half way home the feeling left, completely gone.   Very odd, never happened again.

A couple of hours ago I videotaped my elderly mom and there were

many orbs flying around.I saw a couple before on the Canary monitor.I posted many times about some experiences I had since my 1 daughter was born.A few days ago I was at a funeral outside my church with my cousin .Suddenly I saw a priest between the 2 rows of Veterans.I was surprised when our priest came later with the hearse.

I never saw a second priest or anyone dressed in a long white gown during service or at the cemetery. I am in Italy now so funerals are different here.

Every time a veteran died my dad and his friend who just passed on called each other to organize their funeral with military honors. The last war we had was ww2.I wanted to ask a friend who was inside the church if she saw a priest go outside but it would have been strange.I might still do it.I really want to know if it was a ghost.
