Mariah chooses a side, Phyllis grills Abby, and Victor learns something astounding.
At Sharon and Nick's house, he's in a suit. Sharon wants her dress to be a surprise, but Nick says nothing will stop the wedding.
Mariah and Faith trick-or-treat at the ranch. Faith goes to the kitchen. Mariah wonders if Victor's grumpy because Sharon and Nick are making it official today. He didn't know. She suggest he send champagne and congratulations. He says it ain't gonna happen. She asks, "The champagne or the wedding?" They debate. Victor accuses her of sending him on a wild goose chase to Sweden. "Sharon is hiding something else." Faith returns and they leave. Victor warns Mariah it's a mistake to take Sharon's side. After, Victor looks at the DNA results and the DNA samples before leaving.
At home, Lauren emerges in a s*xy nurses' costume. She says Halloween isn't just for kids and asks Michael where it hurts. Michael chuckles. Kevin arrives so Lauren goes to change. Kevin tells Michael he looked at his office laptop and saw the Lauren screensaver - clearly he's in love so why is he risking scre*ing it up? He demands Michael tell him the affair is over as Lauren appears. She grills them as they try to cover. Kevin goes. When Michael turns down the nurses' costume, Lauren demands to know if he's keeping something from her? Michael vehemently reassures her of his love. Later, Michael calls the doctor and says there is discomfort from the procedure. He wants to speed up the test results.
Summer finds Jack alone at the Club and worries about Phyllis' whereabouts. Jack says she's in the restroom. Nearby, Phyllis reaches Nick by phone and hopes she caught him in time before he ruined his life. She insists they need to talk, but he hangs up. Jack appears and they join Summer. Phyllis asks where Austin the kidnapper is. When she doesn't get too belligerent, Summer and Jack ask what's distracting her. Phyllis admits she's off her game - the world has kept turning and she's trying to catch up. Abby appears and yells at Phyllis enthusiastically, "I'm Abby. Abby Newman." As Abby chatters, Phyllis learns that Victoria's pregnant. Abby and Summer discuss Nick's wedding and Mariah but don't explain who she is. As Summer leaves, Phyllis hugs her and whispers that no matter what, everything will be okay. She takes Summer's phone. Jack walks Summer out and returns to find Phyllis grilling Abby for the 'real dirt'. Abby gives the scoop on her love life, which leads to Mariah. Abby and Jack explain she's Cassie's twin. Phyllis fumes that Nick and Sharon have another child now and as usual, Summer gets benched. She tells Jack she's taking a cab home. Abby warns Jack about not telling Phyllis about Kelly. Jack has the impression Phyllis is also keeping something from him.
Noah arrives at Sharon and Nick's house. Nick assures him the wedding is on. Noah mentions Faith and Mariah are upstairs with Sharon. He's not that worried about him mom anymore and is happy for Nick. Faith and Mariah appear, followed by Sharon, all in dresses. "No superstitions here!" Noah takes photos. They all head out and Sharon hangs back. Victor arrives. He reminds her of the secret and urges her to call off the wedding. Nick appears and declares the wedding is happening no matter what. Sharon tells Victor she and Nick are going to be happy. He's upset. Noah and Mariah enter. Victor says if the wedding takes place they'll all be in more trouble than they bargained for. After, Mariah tells Faith how in love her parents are, and later tells Sharon she's on her side. Sharon hugs her. "This is your family, Mariah." Mariah goes ahead to get things ready and Faith and Noah follow. Sharon and Nick kiss. He gets a text - Summer wants to meet him at The Underground; she has a gift. Nick kisses Sharon - he'll meet her at the ceremony.
At the ranch, Victor looks at the DNA results, champagne glass and hairbrush again. Summer comes in and tells him that something is off about her mother - something is driving her to distraction. Summer looks at the table and asks, "Grandpa, what's my hairbrush doing here?" Victor gapes. "That's your hairbrush?" Summer nods.
At Crimson Lights, Mariah tells Kevin everything's set for the wedding. He offers to be her date again. She doesn't need one but thanks him. Lauren enters and tells Kevin she has a terrible feeling she might lose Michael.
Sharon sits alone at home after Nick has left. There's a knock - it's Phyllis. "Trick or treat."
