Yes, that was one funny movie...couldn't be made today.

Geez, the only movie mentioned so far has been Young Frankenstein as one I've seen!
He seemed like a really great guy and husband and his comedy wasn't filthy.
Will have to check out all these other movies.
Was just thinking how so few in Hollywood have been diagnosed with Alz.
Seems Glen Campbell is the only *celebrity* I can think of. How did it escape Hollywood?
Same for strokes, seems Kirk Douglas is one of only a few who've suffered from them either.
Was very heart warming that Wilder didn't want anyone to know about his disease as it would take smiles away. So true!

So saddened to hear about Gene Wilder's passing. He brought so much joy to countless people. A truly talented man who will always be remembered for his wonderful body of work, including a memorable (and hysterical) portrayal of Leo Bloom in the original version of "The Producers". RIP, Mr. Wilder

I was so sad to read about Gene Wilder's passing.
He made me smile. I saw an interview with his nephew who
said Gene didn't want the media talking about his
Alzheimer's after it was diagnosed because he wanted his
legacy to be that he gave smiles to the world and
he didn't want sad news to take away any smiles.
I think he must have been a sweet man.
rest in peace.❤️

I remember as a child seeing Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. To this day it is still one of my favorite movies, in fact that is where my avatar is from. Wonkawash backwards.
