I will never buy plants from QVC again.  Years ago I got 2 plant item for birthday presents.  They died before I got them.  I was suppose to receive plants the next year from Cottage Farms, and never got therm.

I think the reason for the plants again us because the Q doesn't ship. Another savings for them.

  bought some plants from QVC  in the last 2 yrs.  Found them to be expensive .  The quality was  the same as Brecks 's or other  online places.

Yep--that's how I learned too--most were pretty whimpy to begin with and died within a few days in the ground. I don't remember garden shows being on this late in the year

There seems to be one or more gardening shows every week. It is not my cup of tea, so I don't watch.
