Re: GAGA HALFTIME PERFORMANCE

I'm not a football fan, but I tuned into the half-time show to see Lady Gaga's performance.  I thought it was awesome!!!!

What a voice!  She's incredibly talented.

Very impressive, from the singing to the light show to the choreography - all of it!

Re: GAGA HALFTIME PERFORMANCE

I have always been a big fan from day one!  I heard that many did not want her to do the half-time show.  When I heard that I thought --- WHAT???

Her performance was AWESOME!!!  I loved it!!!  It was such high energy --- everything about it --- was just perfect!

And she did her performance in such a way that could be seen and enjoyed by all.

I am gaga for GAGA!!!!

Anyone who didn't enjoy that show --- something wrong with them!!!

I prefer the stripped down jazz singer Lady Gaga, but obviously that wouldn't have worked for Super Bowl halftime. Anyone who hasn't heard it, treat yourself to her album with Tony Bennett. It's awesome. That's the best example of her true talent, imho.

Her halftime show was so entertaining. And I just think she seems to have a very kind and gentle heart.

The first time I was made aware of her breathtaking talent was when I saw her perform at an awards show several years ago, she and Elton John, both at their own piano, singing a duet.  It was brilliant.

She so does not need all of the props and costumes and whatnot.

She's got a gift that just shines when it isn't obstructed by all that stuff.

Re: GAGA HALFTIME PERFORMANCE

@QueenDanceALot I remember that duet. CBS Sunday Morning replayed a recent profile of her this past Sunday. From things she said and has said in past interviews,  I think she was hiding behind that persona for various personal reasons. Not to psychoanalyze her, not my place- but that's just a feeling I get. She has talked about how Tony Bennett gave her the confidence to strip away that persona.

I think now she feels more free to put her true self and talents out there. I like her latest album Joanne too.

Videos from when she was first starting out, playing clubs in NYC when she was not Lady Gaga-those show her talent  as well.
