Why do you need to wear a mask while you are in your car going thru a drive thru window with the Pharmacist inside the building?
I only put my mask on when I go inside a store. The minute I'm outside the door off it goes so I can breath.
Maybe they are doing Covid tests in the drive thru so they can social distance from those testing?
A lot of things are inconvenient today.

Who is doing the nose poking part of the Covid testing, and how, in this set up?

Per their site, it is a DIY and they bill the insurance. There is accuracy for you.
How is my sample for testing collected?
While you remain in the vehicle, you will be given a swab and asked to collect a sample of nasal secretions. This is done by inserting the swab into your nostril approximately 1 inch into the nasal passage (midway) with the most visible drainage or the nostril that is most congested if drainage is not present. The swab is rotated several times, removed gently and this process is repeated on the other side. Please note that you need to administer your own swab or bring someone that can do it for you.

@hckynut Agree with you 100%. I never wear my mask in my car or while I'm taking a walk, sitting outside etc. I still don't understand what CVS did wrong. I use them all lthe time and think they are always very professional and helpful. Go inside next time.

That's what I would do. Forget about CVS corporate. I've dealt with them often, they'll just make excuses and cover it up.
I would call your state department of health and human services.
And report to whatever agency oversees pharmacies in your state. Like in CA it is the State Board of Pharmacy. All you need to do is Google asking who oversees pharmacies in whatever state you live in.

I have not tested. I was told by my doctor that we had one test place and it was 12 miles from my house. I can only imagine how much fun I will have driving there, finding it and then waiting in line. I am going to stay home under house arrest and wait for the lines for the Vaccine. I am exaggerating a bit.. we do go out for groceries and doctors appointments.

@cozyseeker Do you have Walgreens in your city? In my city, Walgreens is MUCH better than CVS - all the way around. I'd definitely just switch to Walgreens....and not go back to CVS.

Going inside isn't any safer. Lots of sick people standing around waiting for their prescriptions and buying cold medicine and touching surfaces.

I'm still not getting why she is "furious" at CVS. Because she had to wait, no hand sanitizer, what? Keep sanitizer in you car.. problem solved. I personally do not think this is a case for the board of health.
