Funny message on my voice mail

Earlier this week, DH and I wired the funds to our mortgage company to pay off our house, and we're understandably (I hope) pleased with ourselves for being able to.

A couple of hours ago I found a message in my voicemail; it was from a representative of them saying, in effect, "Don't you love us anymore?? Is it something we did??" {#emotions_dlg.sad}

I love our mortgage company -- USAA -- and I wish I could get hold of this guy (I think he was so shaken up he forgot to leave his number) and assure him that we love USAA. It's just that our balance was getting low enough, and the stock market was high enough, that we decided to do the deed while we could. DH is going to retire next year and even though our house payment wasn't that high, we wanted to get that payment out of our budget and back into our "income stream".

I wish I could talk to him and give him a big hug! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}
