Ugh, I bought a fairly expensive top from Quacker yesterday and added S&H. Today it's free S&H. Anybody else ever do that? I'm hoping to get a credit ?

@Momofdogs. I've done that quite frequently. They used to give credit if you bought the day before but no more. Sigh.

When they did the first day of free shipping and I ordered the day before, I called and got credit. That was years ago. I tried again after that, but no deal.

I know it is frustrating. I ordered shoes on Sunday that still read, "In Process." I canceled the order and ordered them again with free shipping and 11% back on Rakuten (as opposed to 2%.) Well the Sunday order is "attempting to cancel." That is such BS. Either I can cancel or I can't, no matter where it is shipping from. The same thing happened on a LUG item a few months ago. By the time I saw that the first order had shipped, the second order was already "Preparing to ship," so I ended up with two of them. I kept them both, but did not really want two. Bet I end up with two pairs of the same shoes. If so, I am going to request a full refund.

@Momofdogs That's why I wait for a "free" day to purchase items. There's nothing I really need that much to warrant paying for shipping. I liked when they had the TSV available for more than the one day. I'd mull of purchasing and the extra day(s) made me realize I don't need it. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Impulse buying is a "you-know-what".

I put things on my wish list. And wait for free shipping day. Especially for lower priced items. If things sell out..I probably didn't need them. On rare occasions I do purchase when I see, but not often.

I think they have been doing a lot of free shipping lately, more than usual.

If I REALLY want something I order it when I see it, or else it will disappear in my size.

I also ordered a Quacker Factory top this week, A671333, and paid the shipping.

So glad I did not wait because the color I ordered, white, is sold out in almost every size.

@FancyPhillyshopper. That's the way I feel. If I really want something, probably others do too so that $3.50 is not that big a deal.

What difference does it make what the $ of your item was. If you didn't purchase it on the day of free S&H then you do not qualify. It's happened to me a few times.

I had a situation recently where I purchased an item the day before free shipping. Couldn't edit because it was already in process. When I inquired I was told because the order was in process I had to wait and call when the order shipping and they could give credit for the s&h.
