Oh, my gosh. They must have been hungry. No wonder they get into trouble eating people's gardens, nibbling on trees, etc. And, meeting up with cars. Do they come to your house often? Do you feed them? What state do you live in? I would have never thought this would happen during daylight hours, but that is about the time they start coming out looking for food.

They come every day, sometimes more than once. We have two 4-gallon troughs that we fill several times a day with fresh water. We do feed them nutritional pellets, carrots, apples. NEVER CORN. We live in Texas in an area where they cannot be hunted.
