Thank you for posting this message. I had heard that UPS and FedEx shut off some stores and so all that merchandise is now going to USPS. At this time of year....and part of frustrations in 2020...it is easy to think of ourselves....why isn't MY package delivered? Terrible service, etc....Well...GUILTY here...but this is now a good reminder to quit complaining....message to self...did you hear that? 🙂👍

It is Sunday and we just received a package. Thank you for your hard work.

I don't think people think about how big this country actually is and how many people we have.

All I hear is whining. Most people work hard at their jobs. USPS employees signed up for this job, a job they cannot be fired from, security that many do not have in their jobs, if they still have jobs. I don't have much sympathy for USPS, non responsive to claims, missing packages through the years with no help from USPS unless an insurance claim is filed, then watch them move.
I have tons of stories through the years, stolen mail proved to be in their possession, and not even a letter and recorded disc of an employee stating he was looking at my package, didn't know why it wasn't delivered, certified delivered to the Post Master General, totally ignored, and I never heard a word from anyone afterward, no attempt to deliver it.
So, USPS employees, keep on working, you are lucky to be working, and be grateful for that.

Our postal lady works 7 days a week now. She is loading her truck @4am everyday & delivering until past dinner time (making several trips on her route). I gave her her Christmas present yesterday & asked her if she was at least going to get Christmas Day off & she said, "I don't know yet'. Wow!
Yes, people need to chill and be thankful our USPS workers are willing to give up their family time to deliver all the ****** we order.

Does that mean that TPTB have rescinded their no overtime mandate?

Aside from what I think is an unwarranted attack. you are totally incorrect regarding their employment status. Of course they can be fired

Yes, under these circumstances we should all wait at least 3 months from mailing before we get upset with USPS and complain.

I appreciate USPS as well as all others delivering our packages this year.
I had my QVC package delivered USPS which was handed to them from UPS today which is Sunday. Awesome job.

@suzyQ3 You certainly cannot judge what is warranted for any person but yourself, and in my experience with USPS it is perfectly warranted.
