Frogs last year......... keep it or tweak it?

I redesigned my classroom last year --- a frog theme!  I'm trying to decide if I should keep it or tweak it.  I might just do a color theme instead of an animal.  Decisions, decisions...

Have you been to or seen pictures of any cute elementary classrooms?

My mother is a retired elementary school teacher.  Every year her theme was "The First Americans."  Her classroom was filled w/pictures of American Indians all from different tribes.  By the time the year was up, her students knew that Columbus was not the "first"  to step foot on American soil.  Smiley Tongue

I think it depends where you live.  We live by the ocean, so sea life was always a popular theme for classrooms here.

I never had a teacher with a set theme. They'd change with the seasons or holidays. I envied the kids who did.

What grade do you teach?

Very nice.  I teach my kids that too.  They end up knowing a lot about Native Americans in the fall.
