A person used some tape to "fix" her roof and she is done.

Roof is not fixed! She is a widow and not really aware!

What would you do or just MYOB?

That is one I would stay far away from.

It is no concern of yours and if you chose to get involved, most likely would lead to all sorts of issues.

That is my thought. At some point the tape will fail and then the homeowner will likely have a bigger problem to deal with.

Sadly, I'm on the side of MYOB...

The neighbors we have on all sides of us do things that drive us crazy. The latest issue is that next door one of our neighbors keep pouring antifreeze into their car radiator and oil no doubt due to a leak too.

Rather than getting the radiator and the oil leaks fixed, the antifreeze and oil they replace often just drizzles onto their driveway. This has been going on for months.

They can obviously see what is happening and just don't care. I have to bite my tongue ever time I see them pouring more stuff in.

The money they have spent to replace the fluids they could have easily paid for the repairs.

Nothing short of absolute madness...

@tansy WHEN the tape fails. . . So sad when this happens and people in need are victims of thieves. Maybe she had a critical need we don't know about. I'm not judging, but just saying this happens a lot.
